The Greatest Gift of All
Abba, during this time of year we are reminded of the leaven of sin in our lives. We all have it and we must all work to clean it out…and keep it out. We know we cannot do it all by ourselves. We need Your help!
Thank You, Abba, for the help You give us! You have sent us Your Son, Yeshua, to pay the price for our sinfulness. To those who have entrusted their spiritual well-being to Yeshua, You have given us His righteousness…and You have called us Your children…something we don’t deserve. You have filled us with Your Ruach/Spirit.
Abba, I thank You for the feasts You have given Your people to teach us more about who we are and who You are…feasts to show us something more about You and Your plans for us. Thank You for giving us things to celebrate with You! Thank You for the Resurrection of Yeshua! I thank You and praise You for Your love and mercy.
Abba, please touch all who need You. Open the eyes and hearts of both nonbelievers and believers so that they can see (and know) that You love them so deeply…so incredibly…not as they can be, but as they are. Thank You, too, that You never leave us as we are. You are always working in our hearts to change us more and more into the image of Yeshua.
Abba, during this time when we are reminded of Yeshua’s victory over death and sin, please help every one of us to really know deep in our hearts all that means. Help us to see the great price paid for us…out of Your amazing love.
There are so many things happening in the world. If it were not for Your love for us, it could be a terrifying world to live in. And for some…it is very scary. It is a world of persecution, of torment, of torture. Strengthen those people, Abba. Help them to sense Your presence in ever deeper ways.
Abba, there are things happening in our country. Many of us are trusting You totally for Your provision. Please help us to so deeply know Your love for us that we keep our eyes and hearts focused on You and Your kingdom…not on our needs. Help us to KNOW You…intimately…deeply.
Please comfort those who mourn. Comfort those who have lost loved ones…who have lost forever dreams of reconciliation. Comfort those who have lost hope and restore to them the joy of Your salvation. Comfort those who are afraid…those who are seeing the precariousness of life. Comfort those whose hearts are crying.
As we face uncertain futures in this world, please help us to always remember the certainty of Your love for us and the certainty of our future with You.
Deliver us from fear…for Your perfect love casts out all fear.
Deliver us from our sinfulness…for You always make a way of escape.
Help us to always walk in Truth. Help us to always live the Truth that Yeshua IS the Way, the Truth and the Life…no matter what “life” throws at us. Help us to always remember that NOTHING happens to us that is not either caused by You or allowed by You. You are sovereign. You are L-rd. You are King. You are the Creator of the universe.
Thank You, Yahweh, for loving us SO much!
Prayer for the Persecuted
Abba, there are so many of Your children all around the world being persecuted. They are losing their freedoms, their homes, their jobs, their health and even their very lives. Some are being tortured. Some are imprisoned. Some are sold into slavery. No one is spared…not even the littlest of the children. Unspeakable things are being done against them.
Abba, Yeshua said that He would be with us always, even to the end of the age. I pray that Your persecuted people can sense His presence with them even now…in this very moment and always. May they be strengthened by Your Ruach/Spirit. Yeshua said that we would hated for His name’s sake. Please help all of Your children to be strong. May Your light so shine through them that their enemies know Whom they have really persecuted.
Abba, I beg of You to lift the protection that hasatan has placed around our enemies. I pray “our”, Abba, because when one part of the body of Yeshua is hurting we all hurt. In my country, we have not really experienced persecution…only minor annoyances compared to what other parts of the body are experiencing in other places in the world. Give us tender hearts, Abba. May we not be ignorant of what is going on or unmoved by it when we do know. May we not be complacent when we have an opportunity to help those being persecuted. May we always keep them close in prayer.
Abba, I lift up all who are being persecuted…all who are under attack. Encourage them. Please help them to know that there are those who care and who are lifting them up. Please help them to know that their enemies ARE seeing the truth in them. Please help them to know that their suffering is NOT in vain! Hold them so close to Your heart that they can hear it beating out of love for them. Sweep them into Your arms, Abba.
Abba, touch each one reading this and all of their loved ones. Help them to keep their eyes and hearts focused on You. Help them to know You as they have never known You before. Bring us all into a much deeper walk with You. b’shem Yeshua
